Drop Victorville then reload Brawley, Ca Then point it toward Cincy-tucky.

Dispatch started muttering when I told him temp dropped 3 degrees climbing out a Van Horn. Down to 61......

At the Tennesseean. I 65 has turned into a skatin rink. Supposed to be even worse across the line, so had Pops BBQ. Did not disappoint. Growing up in Alabama and Texas has made it where I can understand just about anybody. And I speak Spanglish pretty good! But Boomhauer is a lil beyond my audio comprehension. Gonna try to knock out this last 90 miles in the AM and then roll out early AM Sunday for WV and Pa. Watch the crazy folks and we check y'all later.

 

I think Verizon is "playing games".... I was paying $80.00 for 6 GB of data on my mobile broadband... They offered me a $10.00 monthly discount on my same plan. Said nothing else would change... Ok... so I agreed with that... However, I am using the internet the exact same way I was before and now I see my GBs jumping like crazy... like never before... I still have 2 days left for the end of the cycle and it shows I have reached the limit of my allowance... I can't believe this... They must be "manipulating" that info to force me to pay more again... WTF... But I am not gonna do it... I'll use the wi-fi here till I travel...

I know I talk funny cause every body says so. Nuttin wrong with a slow southern accent in my book, thou I do have a unique way putting things usually. Lexington trying to get loaded so I can roll gonna be a long slow ride I be afraid

 

Made it to the rest area 85 north at the ga/sc line. Could have made Spartanburg but it's been a long day and only 2 other trucks here.

78 tupelo to Birmingham was pretty slick in spots. Only broke loose once but that was enough. 65 north out of b'ham was starting to get ugly according to traffic reports as I came through and 20 west the wrecking was starting up pretty good as I was exiting the area eastbound. Appears they took care of the east side pretty good but were slow getting on the westbound. Almost every bridge westbound had 4 wheelers piling up into the median off the ends of them first 30 miles or so out of b'ham. Plenty of wrecks on the secondary overpasses as I went east.

Heavy sleet around the the loop when I got to Atlanta and then a little snow and I was out of it all.

Gotten really lucky staying just ahead of the weather this week. Home by noon then planned to Tampa for Monday.
