Hanging @ wheeler ridge Petro tonight. Just too tired and grumpy to push to San Diego tonight with no guaranteed spot on the far side when I'd be rollin in with less than 20 on the e-logs.

 

Errrr.... Mr. sshewins... this may be the right way of eating pizza in America but it's totally wrong in Brasil... They use fork and knife... I know, I know you are in America and not in Brasil... but in case you go there, remember... use knife and fork...

 

I am at company terminal... truck will get its PM tomorrow and I will talk to Ms. Safety boss... She and Mr. director of operations must be on the same page about this PTI (post trip inspection). It's not right that she tells us to flag it and don't count any minutes and he tells me to go on duty and use at least a couple minutes...
There's nothing on the Reg book that states how long a PTI must take and each company has their own rules as long as it is as strict or stricter than DOT rules.
Unfortunately Mr. director will not be here tomorrow but I she will and she is the head of Safety and the log person in the company. Whatever she decides, he must do... and if she decides we will continue flagging PTI and not counting the minutes, he must stop taking away my valuable driving minutes whenever he fixes something on my elog... I'll not put up with this any more...

 

Another thing I want changed is the day truck has the PM... it has almost always been on Fridays... and that's awful cause they all leave at 15:00 on Fridays and have to do everything in a hurry so I don't get stuck here during the weekend... This time I want my power inverter installed, and a couple other things besides the regular PM... if there's not enough time, will have to leave without the power inverter...
I am on a load... going to SLC and after that, there's a possibility of another load, picking up on Monday in UT, and 3 deliveries in GA that will be tight schedule... Shall see...

 

Well me and the wife went and looked at a house last week , we are putting son papers together this week and hopping it goes good .....

 

One good thing about my company, once job is completed, they deal with driver... Driver calls company to get transaction number for the checks and that's all... We sign the bills, pay with EFS checks and done deal...

 

I like the last one... is that spinach? Yum Yum... Now... if that tomato sauce is real home made sauce, THAT IS PERFECT!
