Yes... I know... I'm familiar with that... in this company... some of the places we go are.... pretty awful to say the least... :biggrin_2552: That's why I try to get a satellite view of the places before I go... and try to figure out and have a plan of how I will put trailer at the freaking dock before I go... Still... it's a freaking pain sometimes... :biggrin_25510: Like when I was only 2 months in this company... was used to go to Walmart customers... with lots of room... and all deliveries were drop and hooks at Walmart DCs.... with LOTS of room... generally... So, after 2 months in this company, I arrived at a customer at night, SOO MUCH FOG... couldn't see a few feet in front of me... extra small docking area right off the street... it was a valuable lesson...

Oh, that's just freightliner's newest trailer. Gotta have something easy for the DOT to inspect; steering wheel holders can't have all the innovations you know!

That's a good way of looking at it. The task can be done until I can't do it.

Sni has thrown me into some places I felt that were tight, but never quite that tight.

    Been there. Almost did that!

Tightest store I've ever had to back into... Jcpenney in Corinth, ms.

Purple pin is the dock, gotta come in from the side opposite the rail cars. In that picture, the 6 dumpsters that litter the ground nearby that dock aren't shown.

Side note: I did that dock 2 months in. It was tight then. Not a big deal anymore.

Though today's second store was bad, I would've gotten myself into trouble if I hadn't seen the issue before I tried to get back there. I'll post pictures later, just saw the green light on my door.

When I was pulling for WalmartI would go to their Walmart private fleet dispatch office to get my assignments when taking loads to their stores... they have maps of the Walmart stores they serve and streets nearby showing how to enter the mall and how to get to the docks... :biggrin_25519:

This is a tough decision.... go to hotel across the street for the weekend.... and take cooler + bag with personal things + box with cookware + bag of rice, bag of granola, bottles of this and that for cooking + a few other cooking utensils + stove + laptop + some miscellaneous and then... bring all that back to company on Monday:biggrin_2552: OR stay in the truck for the weekend, with no restroom other than my little emergency apparatus inside truck and portable outside.... no shower, no sink... :biggrin_2552: if only my company had a trailer outside with a restroom... But nope...
So.... considering all the pros and cons... I have decided to go to the hotel this time... even though I HATE taking all these things with me... But can't go without them.... the Restaurants around here have nothing that I want to eat... at all... :biggrin_25512:
Payroll lady and I just went to country restaurant across the street and all I could get was a freaking salad with the same old same old flat dull and boring lettuce, one tomato and raw carrot... :biggrin_2552: and one baked potato.... they don't even peel off the potato... :biggrin_2552: Their rice is cooked with chicken... :biggrin_2552: their beans, brown and green are both cooked with some kind of meat in it...:biggrin_2552: Good grief... Not a place for vegetarians at all.... :biggrin_25512: They have animals' heads on the walls, and cowboy stuff hanging everywhere... it's a REAL COWBOY style restaurant... almost felt as if I were in the ooooold old west... :biggrin_2559:
