Mine's a 939 had a bit of tweaking done to it by screwdriver down at bell's in Florida.

Pretty solid radio I've had it awhile been real happy with it other than getting out farther than it'll receive lol

When I used to drive a 79 mack and based in a gravel pit (quarry), North of Chicago, I was pushing a Texas Star 500. I would regularly talk to locals in AR. Said I was drowning out the locals. Lol

Funny story, but true. We were paving in a subdivision about 20 miles north of the plant. Cell phones were just starting to make a serious appearance (I had a bag phone). The foreman couldn't get phone signal to hold up some trucks, so he asked if I could get ahold of the guy loading trucks. Cranked it up to 11 (lol) and reached out and got through.

The third lane on US 62/180 aka Montana Avenue finally has its third lane back. It was put over two years ago but the EPA decided the city didn't file an environmental impact report.

City had to remove the third lane striping as the EPA wouldn't allow the lane until the study was completed.

Apparently adding a third lane to reduce congestion needs government approval, which was given this summer.

Because I consider the flesh of a fish the same as the flesh of any other animal... and I find the flesh of any animal disgusting... :biggrin_2552:
And eggs.... let me tell you, when I started avoiding meat, I was eating an egg and a vegetarian person compared an egg to something women have once a month... :biggrin_2552: I found that disgusting... it may not be exactly the same... but every time I think of an egg, I find it disgusting too...
Yeah.. I know I don't consume much protein.... :biggrin_25513: but I've been taking complex of vitamin B everyday for many many years... and although I look anorexic, all my blood tests show "normal"... :biggrin_25519:

You and my mother don't like eggs. ...though...different reasons. Yours is about the most descriptive reason I've come across yet though.
