Hogan advertises heavy on Livestock Network for bull haulers.....That won't last long, who in their right mind would trust Hogan with cattle ??

That's one of my ol' reliable stops for the dfw area, always an open spot at any hour.

 

Parked at the truckstop at the 270 exit in Merkel, TX. Might have made it up to Weatherford and hung with @ncmickey at the Petro but my earlier visit delayed my departure by about two hours and I'm kind of tired.

 

I once tried to tell my future ex wife how things were going to be. She laughed at me.

 

Would have been nice to meet you! This is my new favorite place. The truck stops in closer to DFW are such dumps and overcrowded at 4pm. I got here at 2030 and there had to be 100+ parking spots... Still plenty at 2300...

 

I dunno, as tempting as she might be after a significant amount of alcohol, I stick to the girlfriends of Swift drivers.

 

Yeah with that Petro and the TA in Terrell, there's no reason to fight over the scraps in Dallas.

I've never been bothered at either the Petro or the Terrell TA. Last time I stopped at the Flying J at the 472 to take a potty break, I got hustled on the way in and out.

Then, left ASAP to next shipper south of Seattle, WA. Broker said appt was at 16:30 but I got there at 12:10 and they put me at a dock right away and loaded me in one hr... That was nice...
Now I am at a rest area in OR...
Waiting for my meal to get ready, then eat and rush to bed... Wish I had something that would cook in 15 mins or less... This waiting for food to get ready takes a lot of my precious sleeping time...
Saw something on TV... can't remember... there are so many cooking devices that will cook everything in a few minutes... but gotta have a power inverter here... And couldn't have that installed in the truck last time I was at terminal... last week cause there was too much to do and they had no time and I was under a load... blah, blah, blah...
