Weird.... a driver in my company got to shop with similar story... tire wasn't THAT bad but it was almost all bald in a big section... He said all was fine and then next, it was bald...
You know, 3 nights ago, I parked at a rest area, the ground had some decline... I pulled only the yellow nob and not the red... Was checking the tires and noticed the trailer one, front/ outside was touching the trailer... :biggrin_2554: The air bag seemed to be ok and so was the shock absorb...
So, I pushed the red knob in and raised the air pressure till governor cut out and checked tire again... and it was all fine... Maybe it was the inclination of the ground and the fact the trailer was heavy that caused that...
But I am keeping an eye on that...

    Oopps....:biggrin_2552:
I give customers the load ref# just to double check... or some info identifying the load so they know what it is... There have been times when I called the wrong number and after giving them all the info, they told me, "hey, you got the wrong number..." :biggrin_25523:

I got over 3k miles this week, but would have had a lot more, with a partner.
I can plan my stops running team, and not get stuck here..like I am now,in bakersfield, near the 100 day war...out of hours.
This load would have been completed, and Id be hauling more freight.:)

Vilhiem, TruckDuo and Rocks Thank this.

I teamed for 6 straight months... because the company I chose (I was a new driver) mandated all new drivers to team for 6 months.... Did so cause I had very low self confidence and thought being with another person in the truck might "help" me at the beginning... It took me 2 weeks to realize I could do better on my own... But didn't want to leave company so soon... So, I bit the bullet.... Had 7 partners in 6 month period... 3 males and 4 females... Glad we all survived... But NEVER again I will team... :biggrin_25512:

Ive only had 2 partners,in 6 months..getting my third one soon, but it does help,to have a good partner.havent had a female partner yet, most females run with their mates..or so I thought.
In between partners,I run solo for weeks,so I get to experience both, although I wont give up my automatic truck, and its a team truck...so much more enjoyable to drive..every time I hear a guy grind gears, coming off the fuel island,I get a big chuckle.

I understand... but you don't get the money all for yourself... gotta split the earning with your partner... if you are not husband and wife, it's not that much more than being solo... And you gotta share the space, the drama... plan and coordinate your habits, with your partner, shower, laundry, eating, sleeping, etc... you are almost never alone... gotta sleep in a moving truck... :biggrin_2552: That all may not be a big deal for you... that's great! :biggrin_25519: Hope you find another team partner soon and you guys stick with each other for a looooong time and do a great job working together, so you can make good money...:yes2557:
For me, I am too much of an independent person to be confined in a small box with another soul 24/7... :biggrin_2552: That's definitely not for me... no matter how much money I would get.. NO FREAKING WAY... :biggrin_25512:

If I could keep my truck,I wouldnt mind running solo, but autos are hard to acquire. Volvo's are the next trucks coming to team division..not sure if Id trade my kenworth.
Solo trucks are cascadias and pro stars..so I guess for right now,Im staying team.
