No it won't. If you're good, you can do it while driving and it'll wake you up a bit (imagine the excitement of this at 70 mph and trying to stay between the lines) and the stories you'll be able to tell.

I went in and talked to the clerk. He asked me to check one more time and if he wasn't there they would give me another door.

Cluster #### city. The guy in the red Freightliner keeps blowing his horn. Doesn't do any good when everyone is held up at the check in window and not in their trucks.

    TruckDuo Thanks this.

Well instead of getting out and checking in where he was, that red Freightliner decided to come in the other way and made an even bigger cluster #### than what was going on before.

I'll be lucky to get out of here.

I do my cooking prep + cutting and slicing veggies on an improvised table on my bed... Put some kind of hard but very thin board on top of bed, cover it with some cloth and then put the cutting board on top... the burner goes on the floor and I must monitor it.... Can't remember how I used to do when I was teaming and there was less space and the truck was constantly moving.... :biggrin_2552:
Hey... did you say that your lady does all the cooking during her break? I see.... and when she doesn't cook, you guys eat out, right? :biggrin_25519:

Hey Mr. Vilhiem, I think that Walmart in Aurora CO lets drivers park there overnight... At least, on Monday, when I stopped by there in the early morning for some shopping, there were many trucks parked, even on the car parking lot... And looked like they had been there all night.... All had their curtains closed... :biggrin_25519:

Monday I got a load assignment right after I delivered in Aurora, CO... :biggrin_25519: And left ASAP to shipper somewhere northeast of there...
    And was loaded right there...

It was a nice sunny day in CO... Love those narrow roads, in the middle of nowhere.... :Road::biggrin_25519:

Makes me feel like I am the "owner" of the road... nobody else there but me... :biggrin_25519:

Parked at that nice BIG parking lot at a truck stop on I-70 KS...

When I left at 5 AM the parking lot was still more than half empty... That will go in my list of good places to park late at night... :yes2557:

Had only 7:30 available to drive today.... Didn't use them all... And parked at this known truck stop in OK

Delivery had been scheduled by broker for tomorrow at 5:30 am but I told them that would not be possible cause not enough hrs... Consignee (Kroger DC) doesn't schedule over the phone... I asked broker to reschedule for 10 am... But, as I suspected, consignee wouldn't receive that late... :biggrin_25513: So, broker rescheduled for Thursday at 5:30 am...
Will not be able to reset... however, gaining good hrs... and can keep rolling thru the weekend if necessary... :yes2557:
