@Rocks here's the list of state enforcement on that exemption. My feeling on that is it may be a loophole, and you'll probably get a pass, but the extra still makes you a big target for pull in and further inspection. I'm not as apt as 'olhand to take lots of scenic routes (re-work instead). On the other hand there's been occasions where time/day and route made more sense to not endure the re-work delay and just go.
It was more puzzling than trying to figure out what the Pope said LOL.

Funny, that worked out in my son's favor this week. Full truckload GA to PA. Shipper decided after he was already staged at the gate in PA it was the wrong product. So he gets a nap and hauls it back. Just as he gets back, they change their mind again and he's running the same load a second time in 2 days without cracking the seal. Usually doesn't work out that neat, but I'm not complaining.

Y'all talking bout the 5th wheel, I haven't moved mine since I bought this truck 2 years ago. Run it 1 hole behind center, generally 11,300-11,600 depending on weight in the wagon and I never play the fuel game. Course truck only has 100 gallon tanks. Putting headache rack on today, storing the rest of gear and ready for orientation tomorrow.

If you weren't so busy hauling mushrooms then you would have noticed when he posted the pics. Even posted pics of his dogs and your favorite......cats.
