Wasted 3hrs getting loaded between both stops this morning so ended up at least an hour short of where I wanted to be. Rolled in here with 3 minutes left.

1st stop Hughes furniture. Always the same deal. Supposed to be preloaded. Never is. Get there and they 'can't find 1 piece'. Takes an hour. You'd think they'd notice the same ones of us come in there and have already heard this bs before. They always lose 1 piece and it always takes exactly an hour from the time you get there to find it and load it. Every time. At least the guard there is cute and flirty.

2nd stop progressive distribution. Floor load. 190 pieces. They load 180 pieces and at 11:50 walk off the dock and go to lunch. For an hour. Leave all of us getting loaded just standing there on the dock. Come back an hour later put 10 pieces on and tell me I'm done. I could have stuffed them all in the trailer and beat them with a strap lol I guess if I was floor loading tables and chairs every day for minimum wage I'd be an ####### too.

No I wouldn't. I'd find a better #### job lol

Pretty uneventful the rest of the way. 500 to baraboo then probably portage back to Arcadia. I'm gonna miss that hour I lost today by the time I'm heading to Arcadia

Got to indy to deliver load.shipper wants us to..drop tomorrow 6am.
Local driver can do it,next load pickup is wed 0100,hell if Im starting my clock,for 1 hour work.
Truck s going to shop for apu battery diagnosis,and a few other small repairs.

Sorry Pete. Looked @ south then east and that was 200 miles further than East followed by SE. Eyeballing Farmington NM for tomorrows night rest spot.

 

Ute Mountain Casino is a pretty decent place to stop, if you don't want to roll all the way to Farmington. About 10 miles past the Cortez port of entry.
