Rolled into New Braunfels TA with 2 minutes on the 70. 10 coming back tomorrow but only 5.5 coming back Friday which means I'm gonna be about 100 miles short for delivery on Friday and can't sleep in my own bed till Saturday. Dang it.
Gotta finish this one to Laredo tomorrow then off to Marietta OK and then Sealy. All drop and hooks with plenty of time so sercvice won't suffer. The only good news is my log is on east coast time so that means I get hours back at 2300 local.
When I made my pickup in Midlothian today the security guard was a nice older man who said a prayer for me for a safe drive....I'm not the most religious person in the world but the gesture meant a lot to me.
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

And now we have this dummy to my left. Just parked. Can't even back all the way into the spot. That's where he pulled the brakes. Blocked my antenna and killed my tv. That's 2 nights in a row now lol

When we were inside the Pilot earlier, they made an announcement on the speaker for a Swift to move his truck because he was blocking 3 drivers from being able to leave. Uber showed up otherwise I was gonna go check it out so I could post the video for you guys. Would of been entertaining.

Top one is what I had the first try.
Bottom one is what I got stretched out about 4' too long
People just annoy me. How hard is it to load a truck correctly?
Must be classified as unskilled labor too lolRocks, sshewins, FatDaddy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Luckily they all went to the Walmart DC #6084 in Los Lunas, NM so no headaches about axle placement. We had a good gig with them. Pick up at the General Mills (distribution warehouse) Roanoke, TX, drop and hook an empty at Walmart, and either deadhead to El Paso for time off or run the empty over to General Mills (cereal/baking plant, smells like chocolate, dont go in on an empty stomach!) in Albuquerque, drop and hook a loaded trailer going back to General Mills in Roanoke. When I came off of time off, deadhead to Deming, NM to pick up canned green chili from Border Foods going to General Mills in Roanoke.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
In the case of General Mills Roanoke, they loaded the canned goods in the tail.

Another annoying thing about that place. It's hundreds of different items with about 100 BOL's and you have to sign every one of them.
Lowes is like that too. They put all the little stuff in the nose and all the heavy stuff like tools, power equipment and riding lawn mowers in the tail. They're always tail heavyTruckDuo Thanks this. -
Went into the Love's and saw a bunch of guys holding shower tickets and looking annoyed. Decided since I don't have to be in Tracy until 1330 tomorrow, I can go shower in the morning when the morning shower rush is over.
Decided that my dinner would be handled by Del Taco.TruckDuo Thanks this.
