The Walmart DC in Los Lunas, NM excelled at loading the produce and meat trailers for the stores using a complete lack of common sense on how to load a trailer properly, like stacking a pallet of potatoes on the top of a pallet of lettuce crates. You can guess how that turned out.

Spent the night @ Watkins, CO I70 ext 295.

Half way between the Loves east of Aurora and the PFJ in Aurora, 20 miles East from Commerce City Flustered Cluck.

Big dirt lot plenty of Craters to keep the Super-truckers slowed down. Easily 15 to 20 spots still open and easy to hit after midnight on a Monday.

At the back of the lot is a newer building with a Guatemalan/Mexican Eatery and a local Burger joint. Also next to the G/M place is an adult beverage facility (Specially noted for @Tall Mike if he ever wanders out this way).

 

Geez... If molasses on a 0 degree day and this place got into a race, Mohawk would STILL lose.

Still in their dock door, still got a red light. Oh well, more time to sleep.

Long as they are done with me before they close then I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Right now I've got a place to park and sleep at least.

I once ordered dominos because it was the only thing around and I was out of hours at a shipper and I was out of food on the truck.
