In the not too distant past, all the TA's I can remember had pay to park lots. Not just the premium, I'm to lazy to walk more than 20' at a time, spots. Shoot, the Petro in Monee stopped that practice, maybe 3 yrs ago. The TA on I 94 and Russell rd still has the kiosk at the entrance.

I'd be interested in finding out if any laws are broken (public indecency, etc.) for emptying either your pee jug, OR your bladder. It truly a health hazard. arking-lot-meme.jpg

I agree...:biggrin_25519: I rarely go to any TA... don't like the layout in their parking lots and they are always very congested... I don't eat their food, don't fuel there and don't use their showers... :biggrin_25512:

So... mechanic couldn't do anything in the truck today... He was busy with other trucks that had priority... Made a hole on the floor behind driver's seat where the cables from battery to power inverter will pass...
I took a nap on the small sofa in the breaking area.... And now back in the truck... cooked some and now will have my warm meal...
I guess mechanic will be able to work on the truck tomorrow and get all done.

  8. ummmm. Peterbilt hat

<----------------- you never asked me :-(

Make sure they wrap that cable where it goes thru the floor. And make that a pre-trip look at for wear or cutting from floor.

@PackRatTDI wow dinner was "Perkins". I had asparagus over chicken and mushroom pilaf rice. And a slice of pumpkin pie.

I'm parked in the corner they had. Three spots left. No one tried for it.

Actually I thought about you at first... and thought you would ask for it... But Mr. SGIT was faster...
I will try to get another Peterbilt hat and will save it for you... :biggrin_25519:

Yes... Mechanic knows how to do it... they have installed power inverters in many trucks here... Another driver here showed me his power inverter... it's a neat installation... they ran the cables inside of a rubber pipe and then sealed the hole on the floor so there was no cracks or wear...
