I used to own a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado with custom wheels with locks. I dropped it off at a tire shop to get new tires put on. About 30 minutes after I dropped it off I got a call.

"Sir, you have locking lugnuts, do you have the key?"

I totally forgot about those. I apologized and told them it was in the glove box.

I registered about 30 yrs ago and this is the 1st time, that I showed up blew off the first about 10 yrs ago
And never heard a word about it

 

Previous county summoned for jury duty based on drivers license because not enough people were registered. They had the option that if you were traveling you could reschedule to a date when you would be available. I always told them to reschedule to Thanksgiving week. Figured they would not schedule many cases during that week.....

 

it's true, there is something wrong with me, as i do not really care for the Bosox, or baseball in general, unless i have insomnia, and need to get some sleep, then a booooring baseball game puts me out.

Decided to go in and grab some lunch and mooch off free WiFi for a while. As I passed the scale, I see a driver on the scale and a truck pulled just off the scale and parked. Unfortunately the truck in front of the scale didn't pull far forward enough so the driver on the scale could pull up to the speaker box so he's sitting there waiting.

Of course it never occurred to the driver in front to.....and I know this is a crazy concept.....PARK in a spot then go get your scale ticket.
