Doesn't make a lot of sense to have a truck wash at every terminal but have a dust bowl for a yard lol

it'll be clean and shiny until I make the turn towards the gate.

Off to norcross and shut down there for the night. At least it's a company load. Those live unloads pay more than the backhauls and they're always quicker. Will take some of the sting out of the shorter miles today.

Wow I'm impressed. I wondered what took the guy in front of me so long.

They actually got the brushes working. I'm getting a real wash this time and not the usual squirt the dust off and go.

When I lived in New Mexico, Dona Ana county would allow you to remove yourself from jury duty if your job had you travel frequently (trucking, bus driver, railroad, traveling circus sideshow, etc). You or someone at your residence just had to submit a letter with your summons that you were not available due to work and there was no penalty.

El Paso county won't do that. If you don't show up, they issue a contempt of court citation

My ex went to jury duty once and saw Estella Casas, one of the news anchors for our local ABC affiliate channel. She asked her if she was doing a news story on jury duty. Estella said, "Nope, I'm going through the process like everyone else who got a notice." :)

    Sounds like our terminal.

One time Carlos Munoz, the shop manager, chewed our wash crew out for washing the guys whose bobtails were parked for time off and the trucks in the ready line were departing dirty. Common sense boys, the bobtails aren't going anywhere.

It was a Canadian truck so my guess is you'd have to speak in Metric.

    LOL :biggrin_2559:
Winter in Brasil is not bad... temps average 60F depending which region... but no snow anywhere.... rarely occasions in the South region but less than one inch or so...
Iceland... I would die if I had to face winter in places like those... :biggrin_25521:
