Ugh. This snotty condescending chick wakes up me and the other guy here and has us move over one door. In a wide open warehouse. One ####ing door.

I should have saved not biting my tongue last night for her this morning lol a real bunch of rays of sunshine working in this place.

Now the guy beside me is blocked in if he gets empty before me. They stuck him in a door with a bunch of nosed in straight trucks directly in front of him. He barely got in the door. I can get out of my spot but won't get out if I get empty before him because he's blocking the lane with his nose. We're both stuck till we're both empty. Some real brilliant examples of brain power working inside.

On a more positive note.....the coupon queen went out this morning and got just over $100 worth of stuff and only paid $8 for it.

lol by noon they're all home trying to find where to put it all.

Those hardcore coupon chicks have a strategy mapped out the day before they leave the house. It's like Black Friday just on a smaller scale. They're waiting outside the grocery store at 5am when the doors open to make sure nobody else gets the deals they want lol it's hilarious. Then they move on to the next store. The really insane stuff is when she does the big shops around the triple doubles, buy one get one and whatever online promotions are going on all at once. Luckily that's only a couple of times a year.

I can't complain in the least though. She saves me a ton of money.

i had seen that tv show, extreme couponing, where people buy hundreds of dollars worth of stuff for less than that..

    question however.

what does one do with 246 bottles of mustard..????

    or

    87 boxes of cereal..??????

    give it away..??

    maybe.

or saving it for the apocalypse....??

I've heard clay pigeon or skeet shooting...

First stop completed an hour ago. Manager was a real ray of sunshine.

When I go to a location in unfamiliar with, I trip plan to take my 30 there before unloading. Some places don't take an age to unload, but the majority of them will eat all your time up if you let them.

First place knocked on my door early. I learned not to show yourself...you get lots of promises prior to unloading. Like, "you'll have time after!"

    Nope.

Were it up to me, I would not bother with a 30. It's worthless to me and eats your time. But, legally...

Anyways...long story short, they weren't happy with me. I was a half hour early, with my break over with ample time to get inside and still be marked early.

Glad the manager didn't press it with me.

We were done in 40 minutes. She'd be a real fool to complain about that...

Fingers crossed that the second stop will take me early. Because I'm almost an hour early...

when the apocalypses comes you will be stocked up
my father toiled for over a year building a subterranean nuclear bomb shelter I think he was disappointed Kennedy didn't eliminate Cuba from the island chains in the Caribbean. He had shelves of WW 2 K rations that probably would have killed us anyway and cases of Tang
he could have used the red heads help

I've asked the same thing lol fortunately she doesn't go overboard like that and only gets stuff we need and use on a regular basis. 2 or 3 big shops a year and we're set on staple supplies for the year then only have to make small runs for perishables. Her last big shop in June we're still living off of. She got almost $1300 worth of canned/boxed/non perishable food and various toiletries and staple supplies for the house and the total out of pocket was $38.

Some of the stuff we donate. This trip she got 3 bags of cat food for free. We don't even have a cat. I hate cats as much as my dogs do......but they'd have great fun with one till they killed it if one came around. That'll be donated to a local rescue group.

lol I thought it was funny she called me and asked me first before she got the cat food knowing what I think about cats.

But she's a good old school wife. That was the proper thing to do.

I may not like cats but as long as there isn't one in my house if it's free the rescue group can have it......and one of my tenants was allowed to have a cat even though my rental agreements state no cats so I can't be all bad lol
