I love all animals even if I'm not a fan of them. (Guess that's why I like you all? ) So hitting anything gets rough.

Almost had my dashcam pay itself off today... Some hotshot in his little red Toyota car decided he was done waiting on traffic and pulled across in front of me. In the video it doesn't look all that close, but... (Give me a bit and I'll post it up.)



Last stop did take me early, and they were just as quick as the first store thankfully. Got it all done in 40 minutes and out the door. Realized I could either drop the trailer and not have a place to park, or deal with m dropping after my 10 and have safe haven. So here I sit at one more Hess, this time off i77 exit 42 in Nc.

Tomorrow is my final load for the week and then they have to send me home to pack for vacation... So, I'm headed out to Rocky Mount, nc and then to Sanford, Nc. After that, I pick up a trailer and head home.

On a slightly unrelated note...it was a nice drive back today.

 

If I did that I'd probably be missing a hand lol but later when it's healed I could probably pass the scars off as claw marks from handling my business as only I can hehehe

Being the neat freak I am and demanding a clean house and everything in its place I do get annoyed sometimes when she has them spread all over the living room cutting and sorting......especially in the weekend or 2 leading up to a big shop......but then I remember how much she saves me and I just have to suck it up and deal with the mess lol

 

Those folks up there tend toward one extreme or the other. Either load everything for Cali, or figure your gonna wanna stretch it out so load tail heavy. But they do now their product, Just some times hard to get some of them to understand not everyone likes running on 43' kingpin setting.

I try to give off a "don't bug me look" when I sit down to a meal. If that don't work I start texting on my phone.

Despite all that people still insist on trying to talk to me while I eat.

I hate people

 

Ugh. Been there just a couple weeks ago. Not a good feeling.

There are two things I've learned that attract talkative people...

1) eating

2) wearing headphones.

...take a ####ing hint people...it ain't that hard.

 

yup got out of my drop 3 hours late
get to the pu wasn't ready
means 5-6 pm downtown Chicago

 

At least there's a ballgame to listen to while you're stuck in traffic.
