2 1/2hrs for the unload this morning which threw off the plan.

O/O came in behind us said he was supposed to be there at 0600 but ended up at the other location where nobody was.....well nobody was at the right location at 0600 either lol he was in such a hurry to get unloaded he hit the dock beside me without opening his doors and went to bed. he was still there doors shut against the dock and curtains drawn when we left.

Got up to Tulsa and Pepsi has instructions from the company to load 45k max. It's even on the bills. Of course they stuffed 46k in the box. Surprisingly it scaled good first pass over the scale but as expected heavy on the tail. 31,520/33,840. Most Pepsi places are 24hrs and could have made it but collierville is contrary and only receives 0800-2000. So we'll roll on in to be there at 0800

Saw a Conway up in the woods today. Pretty bad one. Trailer was intact and upright but nothing left of the cab. Smashed flat up against the front of the trailer. Didn't look survivable. No skid marks or anything just left the road at a 45 and put it way up in the trees.

Grab the load home out of ecru and be home mid morning Saturday with 3457 and 3 give or take on the 70. That's a good week.

 

The similarities between Pete and Al Bundy continue to amaze me. I think he's found a way to stock his 'Pic 'N' Pay' shoe franchise on the cheap ! ..... tell me that doesn't look like a Criminal Mastermind ....

Got outa Globe, AZ this morning before they closed us60 for 2 hours to do Blasting.

Flagstaff Pickup was fast and smooth.

Was just far enough behind the cars wrecking in the rain to not have to be a witness, yet soon enough past to avoid delays.

And got through the I40/I15 merge before they started closing ramps.
