I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Honestly, there's a WHOLE lot of things that get misconstrued here between almost all of us at times. Rocks is at a distinct disadvantage because of this being her second language. We all know this. Many times it's humorous to most of us. Throw in the fact that she's a she and from another country with slightly different habits and it compounds the differences we share with her. I don't think she intended any harm. And there isn't any harm to either one of you. just a simple misunderstanding. She saw and quoted a joke post about the parking thing. You know she misses many, many pages here and won't EVER be able to post ( due to time constraints ) if she waited and read everything and analyzed this thread too much. All of us have misunderstood at least one person here at least a few times, I'm sure. In Truth, I think Rocks probably admires you a great deal ( along with the rest of us here. Or at least me. ) because she ( we ) realize becoming and remaining a O/O isn't easy.

 

We definitely see things different way... we don't really know each other.... actually we don't know anybody for sure online... I was responding to your comments here which seemed very impressive to me... didn't think you would take it so badly... and wasn't referring only to YOU but to some other folks too... Didn't think it was such a big deal to keep discussing this in the forum as we started... so didn't see any need for a phone call...
And it is really impressive that you can find parking at any time, anywhere... if that's your experience...

 

Far as I'm concerned... @Rocks was only pointing out what most of us already know. We all have a tendency to tell "fish tales." Exaggerate, build-up, and even outright lie to make the story a little better...

The major difference between this forum and the TA Driver's Counter? ...you don't always see the same person at the TA counter.

I was going to add this to my previous post, but I can't see inside Ms. Rocks head. She just had a very recent and in-her-mind way of expressing her opinion.

Wouldn't want risk any harm or the Papparazzi, right ? .... I love bein' a Stuntman !! .... sometimes .... when it involves kissing scenes .....

Rocks does make a good point there... It IS VERY impressive (to me) that you can find parking wherever you go. Because I drive at night, I don't meet that quite as often as most of you. But when I do drive in the daytime I do get to see what you all struggle with when it comes to truck parking.

Anyways, this is between you and her. I'll see my way out.

I have re read the post she made several times just to see if I'm over reacting. It's clear what was said about impressing people and making things up and yes I'm not happy about it because I've had several conversations with her and I figured she knew I was a no BS kind of guy and those comments were uncalled for.
