HEY! I'm on American soil...
Arrived this morning and haven't really slept for almost 40 hrs...Put stuff in my storage, did laundry, shopping, got my mail at PO box, checked mail, cooked... and now planning my next days which will be super EXTRA busy.
My last day in CF, took a walk on the beach to give my farewell....
The wind was pretty strong and the sand was quite annoying...
But that guy seemed to be enjoying it...
Clouds came and all the sudden the sun was "gone"...
I am thankful I arrived at airport 3 hrs before departure.... Plane left 2 hrs earlier due to the volcano in Chile... and half of the passengers missed the flight... I got 2 dinner meals instead of one...
Pilot said that we would be flying over 30 thousand feet high, about 550 mph and outside temp would be -50F... Brrrrrrr......
Trip took about 9:40 mins. Here some flight info about 30 mins from landing...
And about to land at Atlanta international airport..
Arrived in Atlanta around 5 am and had to wait one hr for a shuttle to TN... then, took a cab to my hotel across from my storage... And they had a room on the first floor for me!!! That's a life savior... cause I have soooo much to move between hotel room and my storage...
I was CRAVING for a bed... but had to keep busy and rush all day... have a lot to do if I want to be in OKC with all my stuff before Friday...
My storage is a mess... gotta sort and organize things, rent a vehicle, pay bills in advance, etc, etc, etc...
Gotta go now...
Hey Mr. Kat... not sure how much rain per year in that area in Rio... I don't follow the weather forecast... My uncle told me sometimes it rains weeks straight... Problem is, that land where my house is, is sand and the wind is always strong and non-stop...nothing really grows there...
You have a good and safe night. "Me" rushing to bed now...Last edited: Apr 27, 2015

I woke up this morning to thunderstorm warnings after a really nice day yesterday. It's never a promising start when I have to walk the dog in the rain. Fortunately, she doesn't like rain either and did her business quickly. Toweled her off under the trailer and got back inside without getting soaked.
Due to delays at the shipper Friday, I had suspected a guy I'm not fond of had scheduled this load even though the one I usually work with offered it. The bad one is a young guy that thinks he's outsmarting drivers by putting appointment times on the rates an hour or two before the "actual" appointment. He'll find out soon that will cost him.
Not so much today, though. Sometimes waiting for a door isn't a bad deal. In today's case, it will be just enough time for the rainy crap to pass to the east in a few more minutes.
