I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Me... I am missing Brazilian food... Had a Subway veggie pizza yesterday and had to cook last night... I don't like cooking... but have to do it if I want to survive...
Once one has experienced Brazilian food... sorry... but American food sucks! No self-service restaurants here, no rice, no beans, no cooked legumes... it's all fast unhealthy food... bread and meat... or some fried meat full of fat and oil... And raw broccoli and raw carrots...

I found out that some vegetables in America taste very different from those in Brasil... parsley for instance... it has a very strong taste in Brasil... but here... it tastes nothing... Brazilians cook with a lot of garlic and herbs and parsley... Maybe that's why their food tastes SOOOO GOOOOD!
I had won one pound or two eating in Brasil for over 2 months... But now may lose it all here...

I understand... no intention to turn this into political... Just arrived from Brasil and saw the chaos on the news... Made me remember the chaos in the city of Rio de Janeiro, when folks from the slums and gangs and drug dealers would set buses on fire, throwing molotov ####tails in them... with people inside, and destroy busineses and shoot cops in retaliation for cops killing drug dealers and "invading the slum"... A lot of ignorance and violence going on everywhere...

at the homestore warehouse in Brandon. got pepsi tampa to Columbia for tomorrow. so far a repeat of last week. hopefully my preload at pepsi in the morning is actually preloaded this time.

I'm just taking my time, taking care of what needs to be done before I go on the road for the next 3 or 4 months... Organized my storage unit today, sorted things, filed documents and medical records that I brought with me... Reserved a little truck that I will drive to OKC... no rush right now... but not lazy either... Will soon start doing some paperwork and calculations... I like to keep track of all my expenses... This trip cost me over U$13,000.00... The dollar was R$3,00. Gotta start saving money again... for my next trip... or whatever...
