Bad thing is most folks don't speak sarcasm. Then when they get it, they don't know how to answer. What's the world coming to. Still here in RI. This place ain't bad, quiet and dark, with Louisiana's finest chicken just a short stroll from the truck. Be nice if the head in ### epidemic has passed by the mornin. Not holding out a lot of hope!

Good thing you didn't meet me at that Syracuse pilot. Flyingmusician did and the next morning he had to be towed out.

I use fuelbook 3.0(?) to plan my fuel purchases. Well, as much as I can. The TA at x34 on 90 is just about $.50 MORE than the pilot on 5 at x99. I prefer TA/petro fuel over pilot/J. But that's just plain silly.

The reason for my preference boils down to the bio content. Back home in the Chicago area, and pretty much all of the Midwest, p/J adds 20%. Not up to, but a full 20%. I know, I hauled it to enough of them. Lol

lol yeah that did kinda suck going out of there on a hook. and then I got to spend a whole week running short stuff up there waiting to get it back from the shop.......but the rental they stuck me in would run 73 with paper logs so it wasn't a complete loss

Dispatch: "Boy you were productive in that rental for some reason."

    Flyingmusician: "I can't imagine why."

Thank you VERY MUCH Mr. Cranky for the very informative link... :biggrin_25519: I did browse it thru the end.... :biggrin_2558: very hopeful that I would find a way to create some dishes for myself at diners in the future... cause I am very tired of cooking in the truck... But unfortunately, even with all my creativity, couldn't find any way to do it... :biggrin_25513: They lack very indispensable items such as rice, beans and cooked legumes... I though I might cook the rice while driving and bring it to the restaurant... but even that will not work as I don't see any cooked legume... I believe the only vegetables they might have will be raw carrots, raw broccoli, raw cucumber, lettuce, and such... well, I can buy that at Walmart... I guess the eggplant parmigiana is the only thing I would eat... that is if there's no meat in it... SIGH... :biggrin_2557:HUGE SIGH... :biggrin_2557:

I'm expecting to pay between 10-12K. I've seen estimates as low as $8500 but I'm gonna have to make some phone calls.

Aaaaah. Diners. One of the perks of growing up in Jersey. I have many after hour diner stories that are illegal in 38 states.
