When I went to scale my load at the Loves on McCarthy in Houston I noticed flashing lights up the road and saw that a driver forgot he had a trailer behind him entering the Pilot and put his tandems in the ditch. Like it's not already a cluster there.

About to start another day at the Petro in W. Memphis. Tyson went as predicted and took forever. Then, the broker got stupid and sort of suggested had I laid awake all night blowing them up with updates they might have been able to encourage missing product to materialize half a day sooner. Yeah okay, no.
So their lack of urgency and apparent unwillingness to pay extra for their poor planning has earned them a likewise lack of urgency. I put my foot down in the name of safety and made them reschedule, even though I could have maybe pulled an all nighter and made the original appt work. So a twofer: bath night and a meal not made in the truck LOL.
Not usually the sort of action in my playbook, but the poor attitude I was catching after meeting all my commitments really used up all the give a crap I normally keep on hand for such things.
