As I'm turning into the parking lot of the Walmart in Horizon, down from the Muñoz terminal, my cars engine died. A guy helped me push it into a parking spot. Turns out the timing belt broke. Not surprising since I bet it's the original belt and my Camry has 285k. Have a mechanic to use and working on a tow truck. Just need to get that car out of the Walmart parking lot before they tow it off, lol.

Best one tire near south bend. Don't remember exactly the loaction. There was a pilot down the street i think. They did a 'MD' alignment. 3 axle. Cost a whopping $200. Did a fine job.

Stay away from the Pomp's tire shop in Hammond, IN for alignments. Makes it worse. Seriously.

Don't ask me HOW I know, I just DO. When traveling through the fine state of Colorado, make sure that you have the last 8 of your vin number displayed on the side of your truck somewhere. If not, they WILL ask you to park and bring in your paperwork and cdl. I'm the proud new owner of a piece of contact paper and sharpie lettering with the last 8 of the vin on the sleeper toolbox door. Whatever, it works.

Back in the Petro at West Memphis. I like this one for the very reason Red does. We were talking about ground pressure earlier, my wife sends me a pic of a overweight ticket that was on her Dockett Wednesday. 68900 over weight. 7100.00 fine. O/O was moving a sub structure if a drilling rig, didn't wait on permits to come through I think. She said she felt sorry for him and was going to work on the fine till he said he knew better but didn't think he would be caught. OUCH.

Love's in wonderful Gary, Indiana. Don't deliver until tomorrow afternoon in the western suburbs of Chicago. Had a pizza and an Italian beef sandwich delivered, now watching some TV.

jeffersonville, oh tucked into a nice easy-out spot in back of the TA.

stopped at the petro coming down in Remington, in to get some tea and the girl there sold me a gallon of sweet tea that didn't have a grain of sugar in it and I didn't find out until I was way down the road later. that's a hanging offense to give me unsweetened tea lol especially when I don't find out until I get a big swig of it going down the road. luckily the popeye's here has good sweet tea by the gallon.

still on schedule. be up at midnight and rolling by 0100 and home by 0900.

planned out for a Richmond drop anytime monday. gotta go to the eye dr Monday morning and get these magnifying glasses on my face raised in power a little. sucks to be getting older. be a slow start to next week compared to how I've been running but they didn't hesitate to work with me on scheduling so that counts for something.
