In my door getting loaded for York PA. I almost didn't make this one. Tandem pin spring pin decided to crap the bed after my last unload and one of the pins wouldn't retract. Had to take her to a shop and they fixed her for me. This place closes for the weekend at 1600 and I rolled in at 15:50. Pretty nice guy on the dock said he's here till 16:30 anyway. Which is just about now. So that light should be turning green any second.

Also so found a shorty to grab out of York to Bedford PA that's a drop and hook on both ends so I can get both these on this settlement.

I thought about it awhile back but i'm too used to the glasses now. had them since I was 10 years old. would be like shaving off the moustache, beard or cutting my hair. I wouldn't be able to look at myself I'd hate it lol

I usually deliver to the Dollar General there. Got into an argument with one of the security guards who wanted to kick me off the property after they kept me in the door for 5 hours and ran my clock out. Apparently the staging area outside the gate is only for early arrival trucks. He told me to call my dispatch and they would put an hour back on my clock under the safe haven rule. I politely told him there is no such thing and if he felt the need to call the authorities then go right ahead. He let me be.

No way I was gonna attempt to park at that Loves at 2300. They are on my do not return list

I used to park at Wendy's on the other side years ago but they don't allow truck parking anymore.

One of our first loads was to the Dollar General in Zanesville. It was already late when we picked it up. Got to Dollar General around midnight and told to wait till the morning for them to let us in. Morning comes and we're told we have to have our company make a new appointment and that will be a day or two. Ended up taking the load to our terminal in Springfield, OH. Hate all those Dollar companies. :smt071

Aurora. At least there's less of a chance of getting stabbed there vs Gary, IN
