It depends on what reference you use (thought about saying that originally, but the age thing...). According to the pocket truckstop guide, it calls the TA being in Hampshire. Used to call it that all growing up. Rand McDummy has it listed as Elgin TA. So technically, either would be correct. Though Hampshire, in my opinion, is more correct.

Fairly confident that there is zero parking for a bobtail to get to the Spot.

Side note. My son-in-law grew up in Marengo (wife spent most of high school age there also)

Getting unloaded in Pueblo then up 25 to the TA off 270 for a washout and up to Greeley, think I will go up 25 and take the back way into JBS Swift, don't feel like playing on 85 today.

 

Drop and no hook here in York. Been 3 hours and they can't locate me an mt. My next load is a drop and hook on both ends that I know I can bobtail in for but the weekend babysitter won't send me the dispatch because....well he's just a weekend babysitter so he has to get approval. Oh well my give o #### meter is at zero. Can't make the delivery anyway since I've wasted too many hours. Let the powers that be deal with it. I'm bobtailing to the truckstop and getting a shower.

 

I know that there isn't anywhere to park at the Spot, but they have a good burger.
I lived most of my life just a few miles south of there in Sycamore.
Some friends of mine and me used to make a quest each summer on our bikes. One year was for the best cheeseburger ,another was for hot wings and a pork tenderloin sandwich
