What the heck is up with this?
    NO OVERNIGHT PARKING
    City Ordinance
A truckstop with about 15 parking spots and this signs plastered all over the place. Thinking this town goes on my no deliver list. They don't want trucks taking mandatory breaks in their town I don't want to supply them with they're wants!

Of course picked up at a mill one time asked if they had an estimate on weight was told nope just know how much we can put on a truck.
I'm no some trucks will haul 51000# others only 47000# depends on truck and trailer.
Needless to say had to go back and have some removed was 1500 over!

Is that the Road Ranger in Springfield, IL? If so, ignore it. The NIMBY crowd demanded those signs be installed but the police told the Pilot employees unless they call them it's pretty much unenforceable, they don't have the time to enforce it by chalking tires and the pilot people told me that they aren't paid enough to piss off truckers more than they already are. I've done my 10 hour break there no problem.

Car is done. Anyone doing a reset in El Paso want to help me pick it up, lol? If not my oldest will later on. [emoji4]

Nope its QT in Bellefontaine. I understand it probably is not enforced or even really enforceable but to me that says the City elected to have the ordinance. Says bring me my things get don't want you here a second longer than necessary and out of principal I don't deliver to towns like that. If I know before hand that's the way the town is. I know it don't make a difference to them as alot will but am the nature of treat others as you wish to be treated. So I'm not good enough to park in your town your not good enough for me to bring you things.
I know it's a bit extreme as the receiver probably has no problem but got to take a stand somewhere.

Got my car back. $422 and change. He did a stellar job and explained everything. He said my car was in excellent shape otherwise and needed nothing else. He gave me a 1 yr/12 warranty on the work. Said I should be good for another 80,000 miles. [emoji51]

    service plaza, west gardiner, me

more or less got sent up here to fetch an empty. they had a lot of them on the yard at the drop lot and since it's space we rent from dysarts I guess they needed to get a few out of there.

call in hooked up and ready and get 'deadhead towards Allentown call back in the morning for a load' lol so, deadhead back to within 30 miles of where I started. most likely a foam load back to leesport then grab the load home. another 1000+ deadhead week.

got lucky and was early enough to miss the 287 to Bridgeport rush hour(s) mess this morning. looking like I might just get lucky and get through there before it cranks up in the morning going back south. it was backed up and #### near stopped all the way from Stamford to Bridgeport this morning coming south as I was rolling by north. just don't see how those folks do it every day.
