Tulip City Truckstop Holland Mi. Record time unloading 3.75 hours. Wish I had run farther last night. Could have turned this one in 2 breaks. Every time I plan to do that they take 6-7 hours and run me out at the plant. Now I just plan on 3 breaks and go with the flow. Less stressful that way.
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Got my car back and installed a real DRL system using the turn signal lamps, inspired by my Volvo. That's the wiring harness I ordered a couple weeks ago.
DRL on
The system had an optional mode that would shut off the opposite lamp when the left or right signal is used. It's similar to the system that they put in the S series trucks and SUVs that shut off the high beam DRL system when the signals were used. If you've noticed most newer systems turn off the DRL lamp on whatever side the signal is activated on.
Most of the turn signal DRL systems don't have this because they are harmonized US/Canadian systems and turning the DRL system off when the vehicle is moving is illegal in Canada.
System is designed to turn off when the park lamps are on.
I'm thinking of adding a relay to isolate the ignition feed and give the DRL system full battery power as well as having a DRL disable using the parking brake so I can idle the car with the DRL off without having to turn on the park lamps.
Can you tell I'm glad my car is back?[emoji38]Rocks Thanks this. -
Well, your boy Red does occasionally use his head for something besides a hat rack. I did my planned fuel stop at the Mt. Vernon TA then pulled around back and parked. 5 minutes later I was chillin LOL
Might still be a little low on refrigerant as the evap was icing up due to the bypass of all the wizardry that normally prevents that. I'll handle that tomorrow sometime. The relay I bypassed is good. I swapped it with the one for the bunk blower fan and it worked in the other slot.

Found a spot at the peelot in Breaux Bridge, LA. The refinery I'm going to tomorrow (or today, depending on your point of view) has a clean face policy. They don't even give you a respirator. Doesn't make sense. And you have to wear frc, so you can sit in your truck while they unload you. Then zip over to the terminal in Pasadena.
Filled up in Bensenville, IL on Wednesday. Still have just over a quarter tank remaining and 137 to customer and 90 to yard for tomorrow. Which is good, seeing as how I managed to loose my fuel card. Oh well, there was a place in the magnetic strip that was wore through.TruckDuo Thanks this. -

Delivered in Groveport, OH early morning then hustled on over to DSW to pick up a load going to Sumner, WA but was told load isn't ready. Sleep in a non-moving truck.....fine with me. Then when it's time to pick up.....load canceled due to not enough freight. Lol. Time for some more driving around with an empty trailer. Going back to Groveport for a load going back to Carson, CA. Love it !
