    All the cities in Texas are pretty cool. Very business friendly.

    @peterbilt_2005, you get a chance to hook up your uncle ?

    What's everyone doing for Thanksgiving ?

    I handled everything last year. Shopping, cooking and cleaning. Since I'll be out a few weeks longer than I usually stay due to my Denver breakdown. I'm not doing a #### thing.

    @TruckDuo

    Probably turkey. Day off. Knock back a few beers with my grandfather until he graduates to something harder.

    Usual customary family board game.

    Can't decide on what crazy delicacy to make for thanksgiving myself...

    Trying to do thanks giving @ home but may end up driving through it so I can be in OH to move the SIL on 12/3. May end up with the In laws depending how freight/truck cooperates.

    So... it happened again... truck speed went up again... As I was trying to pass a slower truck... and he decided to speed up :biggrin_25510: So... I step on the gas... and then I realize my speed was 70 mph... on level ground... :biggrin_2554: But this truck is governed at 65 mph... :biggrin_2552:
    So... as soon as I passed the truck and gained some distance, I slowed down to 65 mph... and a few minutes after that the "check engine" light flashed for a while and then stopped... and truck speed went back to "normal"... That's the same thing that happened a few days ago...
    This is puzzling me... :scratch: What is this? Computer glitch of some sort...? I have no idea... :biggrin_25513:
    Maybe someone here knows... Mr. Red... Mr. Ssssnakes... any driver here have any explanation for this? I don't want to ask anybody in my company... Actually, I enjoy it... :yes2557: But a little concerned about the "check engine" light that comes on right after these momentary surges of higher speed...
    I wonder what is triggering it... The 2 times it happened when I was stepping hard on the gas pedal... but it doesn't happen all the time... Seems the speed is set at 66 mph now... And I am trying not to go faster than that... only in a few cases...
    I wonder if there's a problem with engine... .
    Other than that I think this engine "feels" a little stronger than the one in "my" previous truck... Gotta check the specs on this engine...

    TruckDuo, Al. Roper and sshewins Thank this.
