I just go to the liberty and pay the $10 to park overnight. It's less hectic that way, lol.

Unloaded at Newell Rubbermaid in Shelbyville, TN. Reloading here but it's not ready yet. They told me to park in the lower dropped trailer lot if i wanted to wait here. The yard dogs are having fun maneuvering around me, lol.

The forum layout sucks. All the posts run together making it difficult to know who posted what. There really needs to be some kind of definition between each individual post in a thread.

Someone told me that after these site changes, folks can't access it via their apps on their smart phones as they used to... :biggrin_25513: At least that's what I understood...

ecru, ms at the dc. just barely made it here with 3 minutes left. been a long day.

ran a drop out to knoxville to the celadon yard. what a ridiculous mess that place is. each drop lot is supposed to have one trailer separate from the others for the LTL guys to put returns on. there are a few places they don't exactly do that and this one was sure one. lazy ########. for what they get paid they should be going above and beyond all the time every time. couldn't get an empty because every 'empty' had at least 3 pieces of furniture returns on them. call it in to dispatch and they hem and haw and then ask if I would mind consolidating? lol right. at 5'11" and 180 I don't really have the ### behind me to be moving around sleeper sofas. that's the biggest reason I don't do LTL and tailgate that ####......and for some reason most of these returns are sofas..... if I were a young guy I'd be all over that 90k a year doing LTL but I don't have to work that hard now so I don't.....but.......being the guy my daddy raised I said I'd do it. pulled the one with the most on it out into the lot and then one at a time dropped and hooked and backed each trailer up to the back of the first one and just shoved that #### across. 5 sleeper sofas, 2 chairs, 2 dressers and various other smaller pieces from one oven to another. did a yard check and verified the (now) empties and number of pieces I had on the trailer I was bringing to ecru and was pleasantly surprised with a very nice supplemental added to that trip. made it well worth doing the extra work to move the returns into one trailer even as much of a pain as it was.

heading out to ft. smith, ar tomorrow for a drop. the usual item on the menu out of ft. smith is Tulsa so we'll see if that holds true for tomorrow

A lot of rain today... All the way from TX to LA...

An awful tractor trailer jackknifed on I-10 LA westbound exit 31 and that shut down the whole highway... :biggrin_2552: I didn't pay much attention and kept going... but it seems there was at least another tractor trailer involved in the accident and maybe some four wheelers too...

Since when I started running last Tuesday...

3548 miles and Wed will be working with recycled hrs... Didn't drive much today... and will save 11 hrs for tomorrow. Decided to park early a little before Baton Rouge, LA so I avoid rush hr traffic... Now parked at a rest area with no trucker restroom... only for 4 wheelers... Will leave early, right after my 10 and enjoy the empty roads... Hopefully the heavy rains will be gone too... :biggrin_25519:
Oh yeah... after empty today, got this heavy load going to Connecticut... :biggrin_25510: Something about heavy loads and Connecticut that I don't like... :biggrin_25513: Oh well...
