BTW, that place is not the wonderful city that y'all see in the post cards, images, etc...
It's overcrowded, very polluted, filthy, it stinks, it's VERY unsafe, very dangerous... high crime... it's pretty BAD...

Yeah... somehow similar... I don't know how it is now... I bet it has changed some... and they have adopted some HOS there... but still no enforcement... and no place to park... So, folks gotta drive all the way, almost non stop from pickup to delivery... Or drive in convoys for safety... too much crime on the roads... and cargo and truck theft.. Not to mention the dangerous roads... and the equipment... I would NOT truck in Brasil...

In Mexico I was surprised at how much parking they had. There was some kind of truckstop near any and every industrial area. The food in those places was also amazing... not a McDonald's in sight
