when you said 12 at Joliet I didn't know you meant hours. Thought you meant some road or highway. Yes, that does suck, hope you're getting detention pay. But it's a waste of a solos's hours too. It's a waste of anyone's that isn't getting paid hourly or detention. So close to the house makes it even worse.

I don't get how they book a load coming off HT then you wait close to home. That is just taking advantage. Big company like Beano's must have locals that could pick it up yesterday or today and the DUO could just go steering wheel holding down the road whenever
These companies think your HT ends at 8 am you need to be standing at attention ready willing and able

Well that's a whole other rant and 2000 pages on how companies shippers/receivers feel it's quite ok to make us sit in our little box....unpaid...with a we will get to you when we can attitude....and some of them won't even let you even use their ####ing bathroom.
