Knew a guy once...he said his wife was sooooo ugly...

When asked about why he married her...

"I married her so I wouldn't have to kiss her at the end of the date!"

Voldemort is the antagonist during the Harry Potter franchise. Supposed to be some kind of wizard.

The reason he has no nose is "simple." He went after the protagonist (Harry potter) and his family for fear that Harry and his family could overthrow his evil schemes. Harry's father died in a duel, and Harry's mother sacrificed herself to make a spell to protect Harry. The magic Voldemort used "bounces" off Harry and hits old Voldemort instead. Pretty much fries his face off.

Didn't help that later on, Voldemort dies and gets resurrected by his loyal following... Hence the weird grey pallor.

...at least that's what I gleaned from my younger cousins...

Along similar lines...a friend of mine who's tall and skinny married a very large woman. I ask him one day, "Why would you marry someone three times your own size!?" He replies, "Todd, a big woman keeps you warm in the winter, and provides shade in the summer."

Back when I worked at Kroger...I rang a guy out and he had his wife with him. Older couple.

He left one of his items at the register and I ran it out to him...

"Sir! You left your bag!"

He immediately turns around, looks at his wife and says, "naw! I got 'er right here!"

...she promptly said something I couldn't hear and smacked him over the head...

"Now you keep hittin on me like that! It is the reason we had kids which made me go bald!"

She just turned around and kept walking to the car shaking her head.

That's one of the 2 bigger places I've hauling gas/fuel to. Kroger's and speedway stores. Couple of marathons as well.
