No worse here on TTR than at this stupid Mars dog food plant! Arrangements were made for me to get the load and get moving without bringing an MT.....evidently no one told Security! So...I wait for 2.5 hours for the shipping boss lady to get here and start her Monday off just the right way! Heh heh....now everyone who crosses her path before lunch can feel her wrath!!!!

 

Only 3 days of work this week. I think I can handle it.

 

My Friday was yesterday, an nuttin' but Saturdays ('cept fer a certain Turkey Day) until further notice.

 

I get two paid weeks off over Christmas as well. Whole shop closes.

 

I once showed up to Petro in Grove City, OH without an appointment. Called my dispatcher who called the broker who called his contact at Petco. Gave security the ok to put me in a door. I went to the door and sat there for four hours. Called back. Same phone tag. Only this time another supervisor answered. "He doesn't have an appointment so we aren't unloading." They went back and forth until the other supervisor who had gone home could be contacted. He had to come back and they had a powwow and finally after 6 hours, they started to unload me.
