Sitting at the Louisville yard on my 34. Trying to decide what to do. Pull off the front right tire/wheel, but in order to do that, I have to pound out 3 wheel studs BEFORE I can pull said wheel. Thank you Love's tire shop. I have the replacement studs with me.
OR, I could use the company pickup and go a few miles into IN and get the parts to rebuild the espar heater.
Either way, it's gonna suck to be me.TLG87, Al. Roper, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and 3 others Thank this. -
Conversely your expense report for Dec. will take you quite awhile. Don't worry about gift wrapping up all the chrome you're sending to AL. It's just gonna go right on my Pete as soon as it arrives.Al. Roper, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, truckon and 2 others Thank this.

Go ahead. Ogle if you wish.
Nope, they come in 3 sizes. Unless you go to the 6 though there isn't much difference between the 4 and 5 except in fuel consumption.
@PackRatTDI the difference in acceleration between the 4.3 of my s10 and the 2.9 of the Colorado feels minute. Where it starts to vary is when you hit roughly 35-40mph and the acceleration tapers off slightly in the Colorado. It's hardly noticeable though.
That said...it is REALLY easy to speed in that Colorado. Caught myself going 60 in a 45 without even thinking about it.
Sitting at the bank now, feeling proud of myself. Talked the dealer down to 11495 (500$ off asking price) which is still a bargain (kbb & nada started at 12500) especially considering it's got no more than 55,000 miles on it being 7 years old.
Couple surface scratches, not many and you really have to look for them. Minor wear on the inside. I could see no rust or reason to question the integrity overall. ...and I slid up underneath the thing looking for a reason to knock the price down. Couple thing I'll have to fix, but they are inexpensive items and I can just as easy deal without.
Now comes the real fun...selling my old truck.
