Got a "What would you do quiz" for you all.

After sitting and twiddling my thumbs in Bloomsburg most of the day, I got a dispatch right before I was going to buy lunch at the Restaurant. Pick up in Barberton, OH, about 4 and a half hours away. Was told that they shipped until 10pm otherwise be there at 8am.

I haul ### across 80 (not hard being empty) and had about 2.5 hours to spare so I stopped and grabbed a shower in Hubbard. About 45 minutes out I thought to myself I probably should verify they are indeed open until 10pm.

I called dispatch and got the number. I decided to pull into the rest area just outside of Akron on 76. Called twice and it went to the shipping office's voice mail service. I dialed 0 at the prompt for more assistance. Number just rang and rang.
I called Miguel at dispatch back and told him I was going to err on the side of caution and go in to load in the morning. I didn't think it was wise to go into an unfamiliar urban area at night if I didn't know for sure that I'd be able to get into the facility to get loaded.

    So here I sit. :)

Too many times. I had to buy my spare phone because of one incident in a non Tmobile service area.

"But it said so on the load confirmation......"

I got one through Net10 that's on Verizon. It was a $40 android phone called the LG Lucky. Refill plans online cost $35 for unlimited talk/text and 500mb of high speed data.

Got a great start with it, then started trucking and free time vanished. It's been on hiatus (jack stands actually lol) for coming up on 5 yrs.

You could get them with 4's or 5's.

I had an '04 Canyon with the I-5. It started burning oil at around 100k.

Turbo from the factory and 850 ft-lb is just right. I don't always pull out tree stumps and pull start semi trucks, but I really didn't worry about needing to borrow/rent more pull to git-r-done.

    horsecrazychic22 and Vilhiem Thank this.
