Now that you two have mentioned it, the waiter here in the Dennys does seem a little bit jittery. But, then again, I am in Colorado. Certain "stuff" is legal here.

 

Had a waitress tell me awhile ago that Denny's will hire anybody and they don't do any type of background test/screening. Don't know if it's true but been in enough to guess it is.

Unloaded in Bowling Green this morning, dispatch asked if I could make a 6:30 am in Naperville, Il. I told her I didn't think I could ,she said that is what she thought.

Tells me to head for Tn. And she will find me something.
Get told to go to Jacksonville Al. And pick up a load for Carteret, NJ. For a Monday morning delivery
So I run down and pick it up, parked the truck in Cookeville and now I'm at the house till Sunday morning

TA in New Haven killing time getting a clearance light on the trailer I picked up getting replaced. Somebody remind me to pack my 14 foot ladder on the next trip so I don't have to wait an hour for a tech to get here.

Actually I don't mind. I'm not in a huge rush today and rather tackle the GW closer to 10-11ish than 8am. Was craving some bacon and eggs but this TA has no restaurant but lo and behold a DD walking distance. Win.

 

At the Walmart DC in Marcy, NY. This place must be important to this area to have state maintain signs off of NY49. My gps had a brain fart and wanted to route me up a 5 ton limit road but the state maintained signs directed me otherwise. Still wonder how many guys follow their gps up that restricted road....
