Parked on the couch with the wife and dogs on Friday for only the 2nd time this year so far. Getting ready to watch the race. I usually skip this weekend at Charlotte but we'll hop on the bike and be there next weekend. Have really good seats at the exit of turn 4 bout 20 rows up.
Traffic coming into Charlotte was ridiculous. Wisely took 321 at Gastonia up to hickory and ran 40 across to the DC. It was already starting to back up and stopped where I got off 85 and that's a full 15 miles to 77. Feel bad for those folks that don't know the way around or had to go into Charlotte. They were gonna be there a long while.ncmickey Thanks this. -
Went inside for a quick snack. While I was inside for no more than 45 minutes, it started to downpour. Turns out *Somebody* left my sunroof open. Oh well. At least the foul stench has been mostly washed away from my shop floor. And now it's dry enough to be throwing my carcass between the duals. Getting tired of an airbag sitting next to me.

Picked up at the Williamstown, NY International Wire facility. Drop and hook but I dropped the trailer at the Camden drop yard per instructions.
Was dreading having to scale in Syracuse because it's always a pain. GPS routed west on NY13 to NY104 to catch I81. As I'm approaching the interstate, I notice a small truckstop to my right with......a CAT scale! I whip into the parking lot and get on the scale. In and out in less than 10 min.
And it adds only 6 miles to run up NY13 from Camden where we usually pick up VS taking NY69 to I81 in order to hit that truckstop. Worth not having to stop at that Pilot on Syracuse!
Going to hand off this load to a team, reset here in Hubbard, OH and then deliver their load to Clifton, NJ on Monday morning then head home. -
