I delivered concrete there right after 9-11, did 5 loads that day and every time they made me get out of the truck so they could search it and let the dog go over it. It made for a long day because we had about 16 trucks on that pour

I considered heading to Jersey tonight, but I'm sure 95 will suck, and not sure if I want to take the 81 route instead. And I also remind myself that 2 years ago when I went up there for Thanksgiving, it took me a heck of a lot longer to get back home that Sunday.

 

Well my transmix load isn't gonna happen now. Soooo, I have to stay down here in Louisville and work through the holiday. I'm barely surviving here. I can afford to pay my household bills, but have nothing left to save for repairs, rainy day, different truck, nothing.

 

Looks like we have a load from Dalton, GA to Helena, MT. I'm hoping the roads are clear and we have no issues. I've thrown chains plenty of times. But I really don't want to. I paid my dues! anyone know the best place to get turkey dinner for cheap or free tomorrow on the road? No iron skillet, I believe they want to charge $15 a person.
