Ok. So I'm a night owl. Duh. I'm getting going on the long awaited (or not) espar heater rebuild.
Here are the (typically) 3 needed components, in no particular order.
1-- glow pin (plug) strainer and installation tool
2- fuel pump screen
And close up view of the screen
3- gasket
These 3 items set me back under $15 including tax. -

Effingham has this consistent rumor going on at least 5 years
that the DOT come wake up drivers in the TS give them an inspection and write them up for not being on line 4 as soon as they see the DOT or don't start their 10 break over again.
Fortunately they never have gotten me because I had my hat on -

TransAm in Olathe had only one mechanic I trusted and he was in charge of the Tripacs, ac and heat
his 2 best nuggets that have kept me hot and running
1 once a month all year long turn on your bunk heater to high for 30 minutes, This burns of any residue build up on the glow plug so it works more effectively when you need it
2 if you have a tripack the fuel filter is inline on copper tubing it is very easy to crimp the tubing causing poor flow of diesel. It only burns a thimble at a time so any flow restriction shuts the unit downVilhiem, TruckDuo, chopper103in and 4 others Thank this.
