    The gross is what they pay you, you then pay whatever expenses you incurr from that, be it fuel, insurance, truck note, tires, taxes etc. That varied from person to person and week to week, but the gross is still the gross. That is what you are paid.

    Think of it this way, if you were being paid $20 an hour, but your tax hit is 28%, you actual net is $14.40... So how much are you being paid?
