Just about to get on 76 in OH rolling east hope to make at least Clearfield tonight. Had a rough start all lights worked when I left year by the time I got to Indy 40 miles. No tail lights so 4 hrs later trailer repair place says I'm good to go. Guess two lights burned the wires inside the frame.
Nanny says I can stop playing on the phone and get back to work.

delivery appt got pushed out till 1100 tomorrow so more hurry up and wait. could have been there 1930 tonight. just shaping up to be one of those weeks. i've been lucky and leading a somewhat charmed life since the first of the year haven't had very many bad weeks but when they've come they've truly sucked lol certainly had my share of less than desirable places to park this week too but guess it could have been worse if I'd gotten in to the final tonight I'd have run out of time there and been spending the night right off 78 in the not so better part of town.

sitting here watching the comedy hour. one spot left down the way a bit and not quite enough space in front to get the setup. quite a few have tried but no success yet.

 

Hangin at Whites for a few. Close enough to #1, so don't have to stress too much in the morn. Might get em all off tomorrow, maybe. Holler at ya later.

 

Parked at the OKC TA East. Temp dropped from 80º down to 55º just driving across Arkansas. I guess that means I'm past the rain for now. About to face plant in a pillow. Since my awkward trip plan worked out, I get to reap the reward of an 11 hour break instead of just 10.

I've heard they work ok until they get full of bugs. On a car or motorcycle, probably not a big deal. A semi putting down 200+k miles a year in a team operation, might be an issue.

For the record, I bought one or two when I first equipped my second truck in Nov 2011. They are still in their packages somewhere in my bin of might be useful crap under the bunk. I never installed them. I haven't hit any deer either, so there is that.

 

I Seem to have this problem. I TRY to run the speed limit, or at least close to it.

Oh who the heck am I kidding. I just try to keep the speed low enough to not get a ticket.

I tend to run 60 to 62 when on cruse in the desert
58 on CA 99 and I5 in the central valley
55 in the northern hills. Those Nor-Cal CHiP do generate some revenue while away from the scales.
