back in atlanta at the heartless yard again. call back at 9am. that's the standard script when the night clueless don't have a clue.

stopped at the awful pilot in Stanton, tn to fuel this morning. I was gona be over a little on the drives after I topped off so it was the only one after the scale and the last one before the final and I'd run it low so that was it. budgeted 30 minutes to get in and out cause I know what cluster that place is on a good day and it didn't disappoint.

sure enough, 30 minutes to stage, fuel and pull up. head in to the bathroom. only 3 sinks in there and it's tiny. do my business and there's a guy at each of the 3 sinks. one is shaving and has all his gear on the counter. one is brushing his teeth, same deal, about to shave. one is washing his ####ing hair. in the ####ing bathroom sink. meanwhile 6 of us are standing room only waiting to wash our hands.

after the bs week I've had and having to wear my patience and fake csr smile at every idiot I've run into this week that broke the straw. I was like a pressure cooker with the little top spinning around on it and I came unglued lol let them know in no uncertain terms what a bunch of inconsiderate, lazy POS jackwads they were tying up the sinks doing personal hygiene business at 10 in the morning while we're standing room only waiting to wash our hands and get the hell out of there. it's a ####ing bathroom, not a community shower room. the punk young guy in the middle brushing his teeth turned around and stared at me like he was going to say something but two of the very much larger than me guys behind me took a step forward to back me up and he gathered up his things and left rather quickly.

99.9 days out of 100 I'm the most patient, calm, laid back guy you'll ever meet but I was at that point lol the switch had flipped and the I don't give a #### had already kicked in. I'd have regretted it later I know but I was just hoping he would open his mouth. I was there. I felt so much better and calm again as I walked out after blowing off a little of that pent up frustration that the week has been.

what a bunch of self-important idiots we share the road with. that's the biggest reason I like this thread. I don't think there's a wheel holding idiot in the bunch. all class A drivers. the ones I've met are stand up straight up people. it's like our safe haven from the idiots lol

 

I told some guy off in the CB the other day when some guy asked another driver if he was clear as he was backing in. Driver said use your ####ing mirrors. I said it would be nice if drivers would help each other out rather than be ######## dicks. He told me to shut up and he'd been out here for xx years and it's always been like that. So I told him then he's part of the problem and not the solution and I don't give a #### how long he's been out here, I don't have respect for senior drivers who act like jerks because I know plenty of longtime drivers who lend a hand whenever possible and those are the drivers I respect.

 

I needed a new cpap mask, and bad. But all the medical supply stores need a prescription for the mask thanks to the ACA. Then they charge an arm and a leg. Thanks to craigslist, I found a guy who supplies home oxygen and breathing supplies who sells them at cost, cash, under the table, no prescription needed. Paid $60 for a mask that, with a visit to my doctor, would cost me more than double that.

Life is good.

 

I've always wondered how so many drivers can brush their teeth in a public rest room.

Hell I wont even take a coffee cup into one. Brush my teeth next to a public urinal? I think not.

 

Sitting at the San Paso Truck Stop for the night... 1000 delivery then a 1400 pickup 10 miles from there... Enough time on this load for a BBQ at home this weekend... Leave out Monday for delivery in Portland Tuesday AM...
