Natural selection. Disregarded the internal use warning.

My dad used whatever was cheapest at the time. All our cars ran like tops. :)

I wish I had managed to get his tools before the house was sold. He had the old school Craftsman sockets back when they had lifetime warranty.

Finally caught up, only to get left behind a few 100 posts this afternoon...

A senior person at TQL told me they recruited at shopping malls. They targeted high school and college drop outs that were already doing miserable retail sales and would be hungry enough to suffer the abusive call center job and keep coming to work for more. Anyone that's talked to any of their broker helpers can confirm. Coyote does it too, but they set the bar a little higher and weed out the really desperate ones and send them back to TQL.

Santa knows what you did, too..

Hopefully you'll figure it out long before i did. The ones worth having are the ones running toward you, not away from you. Well, except when you're standing near a burning building. And at the bar, they're just randomly falling over so that doesn't count either.

I'm about 1/2 mpg less in similar conditions. But I don't have to downshift when climbing hills.

You meet some interesting folks at a truck stop. By the way, what are you using all those towels for?

Duh. I knew that already because I watched your informative videos. I just can't remember if they go shiny side out or in.

Once the sun's been up a while you should be able to smell it.

Carried that emergency ball of string with you to keep em spinning?

Mama bought me a set of wrenches and screw drivers by Craftsman....screwdrivers have some sort of "deeper and stronger" bite to grip and remove stripped heads...the wrenches are designed to lock onto both SAE and Metric ....we'll see......"MADE IN CHINA"......just wrong absolutely WRONG!

I was fortunate enough to inherit my grandfathers Snap On socket sets from the 1950's. Inscribed on the handles "PhillPet". When I asked who PhillPet was being as my grandfathers name was Frank...my dad explained it was short for "Phillips Petroleum" and grandpa had borrowed them from work.

That's like the Montgomery Ward cement mixer that dad and his friends passed around. It was never returned and they figured that once Ward's went out of business they didn't have to hide it anymore, lol.

Oooh...sounds like fun. Just be sure to record the panicked phone calls when they want to know which is which because they can't find the lettering... ;)

    Lucas. Personal vehicle only though...

Was using pennzoil high mileage in my s10, plus Lucas... Don't know what I'll opt for in the Colorado, but I'll keep putting Lucas has treatment in the tank when I fill up.

I hope I can break the perpetual nice guy cycle that puts her up in the position of having to wear the pants... Figuring out what you have to do is often easy enough, putting it into practice and making it habit can be a #####...

Guess I'm making progress though, she keeps coming back.
