Nope, Charleston isn't all that small when it comes to shipping. Or maybe I've just thought that because we do intermodal tank containers and I'm just used to reading about continual increased port productivity.
Most I've done was drive 3 hours to Dublin, GA one night... spent about 7 there, and drove home the next morning. Really wished that trailer was something able to put my car on it and ride back instead that morning. I-16 is already a whole lotta nothingness, was even worse at 4am... used the truck as the "point" to keep me focused & awake lol. I also think that was the night we both determined I was crazy, in a good way Was supposed to make it back to Hardeeville that night but got held up at the plant - I wasn't letting my Friday night plans fall through!
