I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Almost finished my 10 and getting ready to go play in holiday traffic. Short day at least, then pickup tomorrow and 2 BBQ's over the weekend. Gonna be nice.

 

Y'all missed Albemarle, NC. while ya' was discussin' korrect pronounciations .....

 

Just parked my butt at the home 20 a couple of hours ago, have some office work to catch up on and the load I am under (truck 3333) can't drop Albuquerque till Tues, am, which means I am sitting till Monday am, BUT, then I get the brainstorm to jump in one of my other Cascadias (truck 3332) and run a stack of trailers I sold to Il. figured I could leave tom, am and still be back Sunday Pm, get my 10 hrs off duty in and still be ready to leave on Monday with other truck.

Except I got all hooked up, hit the trailer air button and I the leveling valve will not take air, (trailer was parked on a hump and I think leveling valve is over centered, so I guess I know what I will be doing tom, and unless it's a quick fix, I won't be driving!

 

About to walk the dog and get ready to drive down to Dallas for a late pickup going toward home. I didn't check, but I may have completed a 34 reset, not that I needed that. Anywho I ought to be hitting the metromess late enough to miss the thick part of rush hour. Depending on how slow they are and motivated I am, I may break at the Terrell TA or maybe push on to the Shreveport Petro.

Two thumbs up to this OKC TA East. It's been a nice visit and great service at the restaurant. This morning the cook saw me waiting and took care of my order. I got the all-you-can-eat breakfast, expecting to do my usual reorder halfway thru the first plate. Not needed. The cook served up double everything on the first plate. When i thanked him, he says yeah that saves us both time LOL.
