Tucked away on a quiet culd-de-sac near my receiver. A new secret spot for me should I ever need it.

I know, right? I got checked in and appt time is 0200. So it's nap time. Sucks that the lot is pulverized gravel. I disappeared when the air drier popped. The truck next to me disappeared when I crawled in here.

Waiting for my load in Arlington. I thought I remembered this place. Last time I was here was a little over 2 yrs ago for a memorable trip. That time, they loaded me with 44k of creamers tail heavy. It was a midnight load and most of it came off in Houston at Safeway. I slid the trailer tandems out to the bumper and rolled with it.

The fun was at Safeway. Barely started shaving security guard decided to be a Dick and have me walking a one mile lap to the truck over and over by telling me only one of several things I had to present at the gate to get inside. On my second trip back, I advised the broker if this wasn't all of it, the load was going back to Arlington. By the time I returned to the gate the final time, a Safeway employee handled business and security man was seated with a red face and looked like he might have hurt feelings or something. Age and treachery always trump youth and brute force.

Side note, I have also tried out the US-40 shortcut. WB (downhill) and MT. The 10 mph truck limit was a bit much, although it may have been more noticeable if I had 22T of crap in the trailer pushing me downhill a little harder. I just go the long way anymore. 2-lane PA roads have too many rules and low bridges to watch out for.
