Jasmine's dog Pepper isnt the smartest dog which is good because if he was a problem solver, he'd figure out how to get out.

My friend's Shih Tzu is a problem solving dog and she gets out all the time. She lives with her parents and her dad has made it his mission to foil her escape attempts.

yeah he is a unique character. he's about 85-90lbs and has no clue how big he his. thinks he's still a puppy and a little lapdog. a lot like his daddy he always has his eyes and ears open and missing nothing even if he doesn't always look or act like it. very protective of his territory and family and takes his job very seriously when I'm not home. nothing happens on 'his' street that the wife doesn't know about. even though she's an old school WV mountain girl and has her protection in the house and knows how to use it and we live in a very good neighborhood I feel good about her being home alone when I'm gone with him around. this will give a little scale to his size
    photo (31).JPG

he's funny to watch. he's slow and clumsy and lumbers around like a little bull when he runs. or tries to lol. he tries to sneak up on birds in the yard and they just ignore him until he's right there at them and then they fly off laughing at him.

he lives to ride in anything. I wish I could take him in the truck he'd be in his heaven but he's just too big to coop up in the truck even if the company allowed it. nothing happens in the house on sunday until he gets his ride to the store. if I try to sleep in this is what I wake up looking at

is it time to go? when are we going? get up it's time to go lol I've been threatening to get a sidecar for the bike and a body harness for him but the wife can't be sold on that idea. I think she's afraid he'll get all her riding time lol

I love that big dummy to death

My uncle had a Great Dane named Tut. he was a lot like that, didn't know his own size. You didn't take him for a walk, he took you.

One time he got loose and I chased him down. I had an S10 pickup and put him in the back and held his chain through the sliding window. Well Tut decides to jump out of the moving truck bed and nearly took my wrist and rear window out with him. He was bruised and cut up but otherwise unharmed. I crammed him into the cab of that pickup and drove him home. He gave me those sad dog eyes and I said. "Don't look at me for sympathy you #######."

He was a good dog though. Loved my cousin Kristen and would get in your face if you were giving her a hard time.

Finally made it home. Probably my slowest trip home from Dallas ever LOL. Still glad I decided to park in MS instead of grinding out another all nighter for no reason. I decided I'd show off my new dash cam to a friend, who also happens to have an issue with high bridges. So I cut a clip from the I-285 EB to I-85 NB fly over ramp on the NE side of Atlanta for him LOL. Waiting for Youtube to finish processing and see how it turned out before sharing it.

My girl has the opposite problem. She looks like 20 lbs, is actually 55, and thinks she's 200 lbs. Fortunately she has a skull like an anvil.

Came to this "big" truck stop south of Cincinnati, expecting to park at one of the best parking spots... wishful thinking... They are all "reserved parking"... So, after going all the way to the end found one empty spot at the very end.... behind the shop bays...

I had no other place to go, so I parked right there... Although there was some space in front, it was a blind side backing... and I used the "help" of another driver who was a spotter for me... :biggrin_25519:

After parked, walked around to see if there were a better spot cause if trucks were lined up outside shop bays, I wouldn't be able to leave...
Found 3 empty spots that trucks had just left... after some consideration, I moved the truck to the one I thought might be the best at the moment.

A little more away from the shop bays and with more room to leave when I need...

This spot is very close to entrance of building... :biggrin_25519: And hopefully there will not be any congestion of trucks blocking my way out... Don't think will move truck again... will stay here till Monday morning. Delivering about 30 mins from here after my 34... Then, will do a drop and hook somewhere in north of OH and then will head to co. warehouse in IN... :biggrin_25519:
