he'd probably love the one from 95N to 895 in Richmond then lol about the same rate of ascent as a Cessna 150 at 65mph. always think it's so cool taking that one on my Richmond drops. just like being in the little plane climbing out with a right turn outbound over the river.

coming back from Atlanta Saturday morning I was in the lane for that flyover and about 300ft in front of me 5 cars tangled up when one of them realized they were in the wrong lane and almost stopped and all the ones following too close and not paying attention plowed into them and blocked 3 lanes quicker than I could type that. thank god I watch my mirrors, maintain my distance and knew the right side was clear for the evasive. you just can't look away for a second.

my boxer is like that. looks like about 25lbs but a muscular solid 55 and big old biscuit head that butts like a billy goat

I guess we all have one... or a few days like those... :biggrin_2552:
Similar situations have happened to me too... I didn't get angry (didn't show any anger)... but did ask them to move aside for a little bit so that I could use the sink very quickly... and I said that with a smile on my face... :biggrin_25519: Never had any problem so far...
Hey... isn't nice to have a forum like this where we can "vent" and comment on our daily stuff...? :biggrin_25519:

speaking of Atlanta......Red have you had occasion to use that new divergent diamond at jimmy carter and 85? can't say I'd recommend it lol very tight turn outbound to 85N and narrow little lanes both entering and exiting. you need them both to make the turn in a truck onto 85. I'm thinking that was a conscious design decision to discourage trucks from taking the short way out from the industrial parks just north/west of the interchange and forcing us to use the longer way out on pleasantdale or indian trail.

by contrast the one NC did at 85 exit 55 Davidson highway is nice. wide lanes and sweeping turns but if you don't pay attention to the signs you could end up going the wrong way in the wrong lane.

Wait a minute... :biggrin_2554: What is the problem? If you are not brushing your teeth at the urinal... :biggrin_25523:
Where do you brush your teeth? In the truck? Outside the window?

On top of that... all the freaking traffic congestion in those areas... with impatient drivers left and right... :biggrin_2552:

yeah it is nice even though the wife still gets a lot of it lol she's ridden with me enough now though to where she understands and can sympathize and just lets me get it out

I think the thing that really tripped my switch about that situation......other than it being the 4th bad day in a row and having held it all in for consecutive days...... was that they acted like we weren't even there and ignored us and the fact it was such a tiny bathroom and we were stuffed in there like sardines and very obviously waiting for a sink. the other 2 even after I came unhinged on them still were oblivious that there was anything on the planet other than themselves.

but I felt so much better afterwards. I had been a long time since I'd had a meltdown. I was rather pleased with myself because it was over something legitimate

Sometimes... only sometimes I brush my teeth outside my window... but then I throw lots of water on the ground... already too much crap, and urine and trash and spit all over truck stops parking lots... :biggrin_2552:

I don't have any deliveries that put me on that exit. Otherwise, I usually avoid that exit altogether anyway (too congested and many alternates), and haven't been on the bridge since they converted it to diverging diamond.

On the other hand, I have been across the one at Pleasant Hill (I-85 exit 104) and it's not a big deal as it's well marked. I am usually WB taking I-85 NB when leaving the terminal in that direction, so it's the right turn lane LOL. That really didn't change except for oncoming traffic being a little different.

Inside the truck I use an empty 500mL water bottle to spit. I use a small cup to rinse the brush, then pour that into the spit bottle. When I'm done it goes in the trash. No muss no fuss, and takes less time than a walk to the men's room (yuk). Just got to keep up with which bottle is which. That can be gross, and a waste of the good water bottle LOL.

I don't understand that.... :biggrin_25512: What is the problem about someone washing their feet in the sink? It's a public bathroom sink and folks wash not only their hands in there...
What I don't understand is folks washing their mugs and dishes in the bathroom sink... :biggrin_2552: I use the truck stop kitchen sink for my dishes... and sometimes I do wash my feet in the bathroom sink... :yes2557:
