If I'm coming out of shipper/receiver that has several lights before I can actually get going I try to time the last light so I hit it when it's red and then switch over right as I take off. Of course these are the times I hit the green lights.

And one other thing I found about "mine" here... A window opens and it says it will automatically put me on driving within a certain amount of seconds and it keeps counting down the seconds... If I click "OK", it WILL for sure put me on driving... BUT if I am able to stop and stay stopped, as soon as the counting reaches zero, I put myself on OFF, it MAY "ignore" the driving and keep me on OFF... :biggrin_25519: Not sure all the Peoplenets out there are the same though...

I understand... but I think that if you had put yourself again on off duty when you turned your engine on and before you circled around the pumps, I bet the box would not have put you on driving and backtracked your mins... Try it next time... if there's a similar situation and see what happens... :biggrin_25519:

ours has "OK" or "SKIP" on that popup. the problem is that if you hit 'skip' it locks it in that off duty status and the only way to change it is to stop long enough to let the icons come back up and then go through the screens to get back to the status you want. the skip feature and locking the status is useful getting around the dc's where you can go a mile and it wants to change before you get halfway around the yard.....but try it stuck in traffic and then it always happens you won't stop again and the traffic starts moving and then you're stuck explaining to safety why you did a 'skip' out on the big road and not at a dc or truckstop lol don't ask how I know just trust me haha

much to the wife's surprise and happiness I decided to just stay home and enjoy an extra day off since I rarely ever get 2+ days home anymore. she thought for sure I'd be going this evening and really I should just to get the cushion for tomorrow but i'll just get up at dark 30 and roll to Brandon and chase the clock to the last second tomorrow.

had hedges that really needed trimming and some kind of climbing vine that had gotten entrenched in the hedges and was eyeing the side of the house. final score was...... me and 24" electric trimmer 1 - climbing vine 0.......that contest was never in doubt.

and of course soon as I decide to stay home one of my tenants calls having trouble with the well. sprung a leak around the low pressure cutoff switch at the tank. good thing I keep an inventory of spare parts for my houses. well work wasn't exactly on the list of things to do today. never really do get a true day off lol
