Yes it is. Got me a corner spot, with a truck guarding my hood on the other side( I hope)! Already been one hood fatality today.

 

Not a gravy day Had a 4 o'clock philly apt. Thought I would be in and out. Guy informs me they are refusing 116 cases. Still here waiting on another buyer to deliver this stuff to. Already late for my 12 o'clock pick up and I still have to change trucks and find empty trailer. Just another day at the office. Carry on carry on!!

 

Since I'm doing the 2 hour portion of my 8/2 break figured I'd catch up.

Made a bad trip planning decision last night (well it sounded good at the time) after spending 6 hours in the shop going back and forth with the other TA what they would or would not cover I saw I had 3 hours left on my clock to get the 150 miles to the Kroger outside of Cincy for a 0230 appt

Now I could have waited around a few hours and let my 10 reset my clock but that would have meant limited sleep...leave at 2300 and arrive in time then shoot over to Hebron and pick up my load going home.

Nah. I decided. It's Kroger. They all have truck staging....I will be there 2 hours early... Be in the door at least 4 hours after my appointment then just have a couple hours to kill for an 8/2 spilt then finish the break on site....google maps confirmed there was in fact a staging area and off I went.

Arrive with minutes on the clock. Find the "staging" area pretty much blocked off with limited parking with signs everywhere saying once unloaded you must leave.

Even better. When I get to the gate I'm told "ok. Drop it in door 19. You've got 4 empties in the back" Seriously? I've never dropped at a Kroger in my life. So now I have to find parking in the Cincy area and midnight. Did find a Walmart nearby did an 8 and got out. Went over to Hebron picked up my load and came over to TA in Florence to do another 2 and get on down the road.

Nobody to blame but myself.....and Peoplenet....when in doubt always blame Peoplenet
